Josh is an award winning director and content producer, specialising in comedy and science fiction.
A graduate in Directing from the Australian Film, TV and Radio School (AFTRS); his previous years assistant directing and in production mean a wealth of on-set and post-production experience from across Australia and the USA.
He directed episodes of the award winning LGBTQI+ webseries SAME SAME in Brooklyn, NY, which has over 4.7 millions views so far with partner channel One More Lesbian, and has sold to streaming service Revry.com. While the views are great, sure, the comments showing the love and engagement on each episode’s youtube pages are just stellar.
Josh directed the fast paced comic sci-fi romance ‘Jump‘, within ‘The ‘Bench’ anthology web-series in Sydney. The series was selected for Melbourne Webfest and Los Anegeles CineFest, and was a Finalist at the National Irish Science Fiction Film Awards and Rhode Island International Film Festival.
He co-wrote and directed Legacy and Opal during a postgrad at the Australian Film, Television & Radio School. Legacy screened at dozens of festivals internationally, including Fantasia and London SciFi; winning Best Director, Best Cinematography and Best Supporting Actor at the North Wales International Film Festival and nominated for the National Irish Science Fiction Film Awards.
His short Gone was funded through Metroscreen’s First Breaks grant and his film Blood Type won Best Director in the Sydney 48hr Film Festival.
